The Eco-Print Silk Scarf is one of the young people at Naughty Broady's favourite products to make and use!
These silk scarves are individually hand dyed and printed by their young people, using locally sourced eucalyptus leaves, natural dyes and vegetable peels.
The eco-print silk scarves are a labour of care and community, connecting Naughty
Broady to other programs at Banksia Gardens. They start by collecting onion skins from
their food pantry program and coffee grounds from their social enterprise cafe, Common
Bean Cafe. Then, they gather eucalyptus leaves and sticks from the local area, particularly
around the housing estate. These materials are bundled around copper piping and sticks
before being immersed in the boiling vats of onion skins and other natural dyes. After a
few days of sitting, the scarves emerge, infused with the natural pigments and patterns
from the plants. It's a process that allows each silk scarf to be unique - no two are ever
the same.
Please note each of theses scarves is it’s own, individual artwork. Colours and patterns may vary from website photos.

Our Shipping Policy
We ship Australia-wide*. Please email us if you’d like to organise an overseas shipping order and we’ll see what we can do.
We ship using Australia Post, for localised information about your state please check their website for the latest information.
We aim to dispatch orders within 1-2 business days. If you've left it to the last minute and urgently need something then please get in touch or order for local pick-up to avoid transport delays.
* Please note: some items such as beeswax products are unable to be shipped to some states due to local environmental policies. If you're unsure about an item you can check your states policy here.
Can I return a product?
We will always accept a refund within 30 days of your purchase as long as the item is unused. Please email us to organise this.
