The HUK towels is a microbusiness of the Christie Centre which fits perfectly with their focus on sustainability, avoiding waste and repurposing items.
The towels come from the Mildura Base Public Hospital and are used in theatre where surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses and other medical clinicians dry their hands with them after
completing their surgical scrub. The towels are only ever used once. This comes out at around 150 towels a week, and just under 8000 in a year.
They are commercially laundered before coming to the Christie Centre where a team folds and packs the towels for sale within their social enterprises and through partners. The towels are made of a highly absorbent material, lint free and are similar to a tea towel in size, making them perfect for drying surfaces, cleaning glass and
mirrors, domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.

We ship Australia-wide*. Please email us if you’d like to organise an overseas shipping order and we’ll see what we can do.
We ship using Australia Post, for localised information about your state please check their website for the latest information.
We aim to dispatch orders within 1-2 business days. If you've left it to the last minute and urgently need something then please get in touch or order for local pick-up to avoid transport delays.
