RED MIRROR Feb-March ( meertilluc-bunuru)
'Bunuru is the second summer and the hottest season of the year I used the red colours to depict this and the circle represents the sun. The lines coming from the sun are the rays.'
GREEN MIRROR April-May (pourner-Djeran)
'Djeran is the season of adulthood where the nights become cool and the rain starts to fall. Food that we ate in this season included the yakans which is the long neck turtles which is what I have drawn. They are swimming the circles in the middle are waterholes.'
BLUE MIRROR June-July (Mawker-Makuru)
'Makuru is the season of fertility the wettest season of the year. I have drawn circles with U shaped symbols sitting around them, the U shaped symbols are people sitting and all of them together represent a gathering. I’ve used blues to show the rain fall and also waterholes. The lines and blue dots also represent rivers which would become full because of the amount of rain fall.'
