Meet The Maker

HoMie

HoMie is a comfortable space that supports and nurtures young people whose lives are affected by homelessness and hardship. Birthed in 2015, they threaded HoMie together with three, curious friends who wanted to shatter the stigma associated with homelessness and those living it rough on the streets through their Facebook page—Homelessness of Melbourne—that was created to allow people to share their narratives in a dignified way, breaking down the stigma and humanising street life.
Through its HoMie Pathway Alliance Program, their socially conscious community, located on Brunswick St, Fitzroy, Melbourne, has equipped over 1,500 disadvantaged youth with skills, confidence and experience to prepare them for employment. HoMie’s streetwear clothing enterprise, founded by CEO and Co-Founder Nick Pearce,
in 2015, is a not-for-profit organisation, donating all their profits to tailoring its vision, as well as showcasing its latest releases and staple pieces such as
its monogram tees.
