Making the world go round, since 2009, the Mildura Chocolate Company is a certified social enterprise, whipped up by the Christie Centre - a NDIS registered disability provider, located within the Loddon Mallee region.
For more than ten years, the Mildura Chocolate Company has reinvested one hundred per cent of its profits to create training and employment opportunities for those facing employment barriers. With each delectable purchase, it helps 24 employees earn a fair wage that supports 12 other people on their pathway to work. Mouth-watering and sustainable, its chocolate-coated products are sourced from local growers to give a unique taste of Sunraysia. In partnership with ArtRageUs Studio, a social enterprise melted into the Christie Centre, which supports and nurtures the creativity of disabled artists, its boxed products and chocolate bars spotlight avant-garde artworks, which are carefully selected based on colour and pattern to match the palate of the product inside. Available through its online store, the Mildura Chocolate Company offers svelte, smooth chocolate bars to chocolate slabs produced of seventy per cent dark cacao-sprinkled with Murray River salt on top, as well as appetising customised treats for any occasion.
