Purpose Precinct: Low Waste Entertaining Workshop

This holiday season, learn how to create a low-waste entertaining platter (that’s sure to impress)!
Join us for a hands-on cooking class and learn how to make three delicious recipes that make the most of leftovers, off-cuts or produce that might otherwise go to waste. We’ll also discuss clever kitchen tips to make more of what you have in the kitchen year-round.
At the end of the class, we’ll share our platter and you’ll go home with a bottle of homemade cordial to serve as a delicious summer spritz as well as recipe cards for all three recipes.
Workshops will be run on Sat Jan 25 2025 at 10am and 2pm. Class comprises a two hour cooking session followed by an hour to enjoy the fruits of your labour. Classes are held at the Moving Feast Kitchen at the Purpose Precinct in Queen Victoria Market. Email hello@purposeprecinct.org to lock in your preferred session date (subject to availability).
Run by MAKE Studios. Your instructors will be MAKE's food system and low-waste cooking champion, Fiona Smith, supported by Fiona Meighan.

Our Shipping Policy
We ship Australia-wide*. Please email us if you’d like to organise an overseas shipping order and we’ll see what we can do.
We ship using Australia Post, for localised information about your state please check their website for the latest information.
We aim to dispatch orders within 1-2 business days. If you've left it to the last minute and urgently need something then please get in touch or order for local pick-up to avoid transport delays.
* Please note: some items such as beeswax products are unable to be shipped to some states due to local environmental policies. If you're unsure about an item you can check your states policy here.
Can I return a product?
We will always accept a refund within 30 days of your purchase as long as the item is unused. Please email us to organise this.
