Purpose Precinct: Soft Plastics Into Glasses Case Workshop

Soft plastic is one of the most common in the world of plastic waste - it is quite possibly the trashiest form of trash! But in just 30 seconds, we turn it from waste to a valuable resource. In this session, we've sourced soft plastic waste from the Queen Victoria Market and we'll teach you how to transform it and blanket stitch your own handcrafted glasses case. And the best part? You'll leave with everything you need to repeat the process back at home!
Workshops will be run on:
Tue Jan 14, 2025 with four sessions: 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm
Sat Jan 18, 2025 with four sessions: 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm
The session runs for 45 minutes and will be held at the Purpose Precinct at Queen Victoria Market. Email hello@purposeprecinct.org to lock in your preferred session date (subject to availability).

About your workshop facilitator: Into Carry is a creative upcycling studio exploring methods to bring value to wasted and overlooked materials. Their work focuses on finding processes that can easily be taught to others and repeated from the comfort of their own home.

Our Shipping Policy
We ship Australia-wide*. Please email us if you’d like to organise an overseas shipping order and we’ll see what we can do.
We ship using Australia Post, for localised information about your state please check their website for the latest information.
We aim to dispatch orders within 1-2 business days. If you've left it to the last minute and urgently need something then please get in touch or order for local pick-up to avoid transport delays.
* Please note: some items such as beeswax products are unable to be shipped to some states due to local environmental policies. If you're unsure about an item you can check your states policy here.
Can I return a product?
We will always accept a refund within 30 days of your purchase as long as the item is unused. Please email us to organise this.
